Twitter Users React To Extra-Judicial Killings By Police During Protest Over Killed Remo Star Football Player In Sagamu
Twitter users are reacting to the extra-judicial killing of at least three protesters by police officers during protest against the alleged killing of Tiamiyu Kazeem, a football player for Remo Star in Sagamu, Ogun state by members of Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).
Angry youths of Akarigbo area of Remo, Ogun state took to the streets on February 24 to express their displeasure over the killing of a footballer by operatives of Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) on February 22.
The protest however, became bloody when three persons were hit by bullets fired by policemen to disperse the crowd. The protesters, in turn, retaliated by pelting the law enforcement officials with stones.
