Kate Henshaw Laments, Says, ‘INEC Messing With Her Destiny’ (VIDEO)

Nigerian actress, Kate Henshaw has taken to social media to call out the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) for the allegedly disenfranchising her and twenty others in her polling unit.

In a video shared on her Twitter handle, the actress lamented that she could not cast her vote because the BVAS says she is not registered.

Henshaw explained further that she found her name on the register on the wall and the INEC register. However, she can’t vote.

She admonished the administrator in charge of INEC in Lagos to find a quick solution to the problem.

While stating that she won’t take things easy with INEC for playing with her destiny, the actress also called on international media organisations like BBC and CNN to note what is happening in Nigeria.

She said, “You people are playing with my destiny. Yes.

INEC, I registered, I transferred my card and I picked up my PVC. Now, your BVAS is saying I’m not registered. But I’ve seen my name on the register pasted on the wall and on your website.

“What are you guys people doing? You, people, want problem with me.”

Calling on media houses and foreign observers of the election, Henshaw said, “INEC is playing games.

She added that the situation affected not only her but some other people, adding that “Whoever is in charge of INEC Lagos should come and sort it out here.

She posted with the video, “This is the plan of @inecnigeria @ineclagos to disenfranchise me and over 20 Nigerians here in this polling unit! This is totally unfair!”
