Portable Downplays Olamide, Poco Lee’s Influence On His Career (VIDEO)

Nigerian recording artiste, Portable has stated that veteran musician, Olamide and social media content creator, Poco Lee played little to no role in his emergence into mainstream prominence.

The singer whose real name is Habeeb Okikiola made this statement during an interview session with Echoo Room.

Speaking, Portable claimed that he was already a success prior to coming across Poco Lee who later introduced him to Yahoo Boy No Laptop (YBNL) boss, Olamide. The ‘Zazzuu‘ crooner stated that he was doing fine before social media content creator, Poco Lee reached out to him on Instagram.

He added that they sent him a DM and no one linked him to them as claimed.

He also said that it was all grace and when it’s time for a person to become successful, they will.

In December 2021, Portable made mainstream popularity following the release of his song, ‘Zazzuu‘, in which he featured Olamide and Pocolee.

Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable or Dr Zeh is a Nigerian singer, rapper and songwriter.

In the latter part of the interview session, Portable claimed he was extorted by show promoters and members of his management team. The controversial singer-songwriter mentioned that he made only N3 million at the peak of his smash hit, ‘Zazzuu‘.

Portable revealed he had been ripped off millions of naira.
