BBNaija S6: Nigerians React To Eviction Of Tega, BomaNigerians have reacted to the eviction of Big Brother Naija housemate, Tega and her love interest, Boma on Sunday, September 5.

Tega, a 29-year-old business owner who hails from Cross River, is the only married female housemate in this year’s show.

However, earlier in the week Tega set tongues wagging after revealing that she would move on with her life if her husband refuses to continue with their marriage when she exits the show.
The reality TV star was reflecting on her participation in the show as a married woman on Tuesday during a conversation with Liquorose and Boma, who she has been having sexual relations with.

Tega revealed that before her foray into the ‘Shine Ya Eye’ house, she was asked during audition what she would do if her husband is no longer interested in their marriage after the show.

In his reaction, her husband said he has wronged his wife in so many ways but cheating on her was what broke the bond they had as a couple.

He expressed;

I cheated on my wife in our matrimonial home. I am not proud of this. This mistake has caused so much damage in our marriage to the extent of her threatening to leave our once happy home. In my own little way, I have tried to make amends for everything I have done wrong. I have tried to support her dreams, to campaign and defend her and also to be a better man. But all these are done in her absence.

Later on, Boma and Tega were under fire after they were seen at different points kissing and getting cozy under the sheets. 

It was also speculated that the duo had sex but they both denied it, sparking outrage from many Nigerians who slammed Tega for cheating on her husband on live TV. 


Following her eviction on Sunday, Tega, who had earlier said she had no regrets in the show, told the show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu that she missed her husband very much and her young son.

Also, she clarified her relationship status with Boma, saying they were both acting a script and their sexual intimacy was just for the TV.

Reacting, many viewers took to social media again to mock the duo, slamming Tega in particular for not being remorseful about her actions.
