Ikorodu Bois Headed To Hollywood As Russo Brothers Invites Group For Extraction 2 Movie Premiere
Social media sensation, The Ikorodu Bois have received yet another international recognition following their remake of the Russo Brothers’ ‘Extraction 2’ trailer.
Ikorodu Bois are a comedy group consisting of young boys who recreates and mimics high budget music videos and Hollywood movie trailers with just household items.
The group posted a recreation of the Extraction movie trailer on Wednesday, June 24th via their official Twitter page, racking over four million views in under 24 hours and capturing the attention of co–producers of the movie – the Russo brothers as well as the star actor in the movie – Chris Hemsworth.
The award-winning producers, Anthony and Jospeh Russo, expressed their excitement at the remake and officially invited the Ikorodu Bois to the world premiere of their Netflix action film sequel – Extraction 2.
Extending the invite to boys on Twitter, the Russo Brothers wrote;

The Ikorodu Bois consists of brothers Muiz Sanni, 15, Malik Sanni, 10, and their cousin, 13-year-old Fawas Aina acting out the movies and music videos while the Sanni’s older brother, 23-year-old Babatunde Sanni, works as editor and manager.
They have re-enacted various high-budget movie trailers such as ‘Bad Boys for Life’, ‘Money Heist’, and a tribute to late basketball legend, Kobe Bryant.
Other videos recreated are singer Roddy Rich‘s ‘The Box‘ music video, Michael Jackson’s ‘Don’t Care About Us’, and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle.
The creative efforts of The Ikorodu Bois have not gone unnoticed in the past as ‘The Professor’ from Money Heist series acknowledged their remake of the Season 4 trailer.
Months back, actor Will Smith also acknowledged the boys for their ‘Bad Boys Forever’ trailer recreation.
Other stars like actor Dwayne Johnson and basketball player Lebron James have also shown the boys some love in recent times.
The Ikorodu Bois have also gained over 500,000 followers on Instagram and over 73,000 followers on Twitter.
