The Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM) has revealed the arrival of 130 Nigerians evacuated from Sudan.

This was disclosed on Friday through the commission’s Twitter handle.

It reads;

EVACUATION UPDATE:

The 2nd batch of Evacuees: 130 Nigerian nationals; 128 females and 2 males that departed Port Sudan International Airport landed at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at 3:15 pm via Tarco Airline B737-300 Aircraft.

Over 500 Nigerian Students Sent Back To Sudan By Egyptian Authorities — Here Is The Reason

Earlier, Egyptian authorities have sent over 500 Nigerian students back.

This was reportedly due to the failure of two of them to provide either a passport or Emergency Travel Certificate.

A report published by the PUNCH on Friday noted that students without passports or ETC had been instructed to stay back.

The official added that two students without any of the documents were impatient and joined their colleagues, adding that the Egyptian authorities were angry and ordered that all the students should be taken back to get the needed permits.
