Wizkid Takes Down Album Promotion Tweet Following Death Of Davido’s Son

Davido‘s colleague and perceived rival, Wizkid has taken down the promotional tweet geared at his forthcoming album, More Love, Less Ego in respect to the demise of Ifeanyi Adeleke.

Earlier, MDB confirmed the passing of Ifeanyi, the 3-year-old son of foremost Nigerian recording artiste, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido and his lover, Chioma Rowland. The toddler drowned in a swimming pool in his father’s house in Banana Island on Monday.

The album “More Love, Less Ego” was supposed to be released on the 4th of November, 2022 and Wizkid made a tweet announcing the release date.

The tweet, however, has now been deleted following the news of Ifeanyi’s demise.

The Grammy-award winner’s action has since been applauded by many as a sign of respect to Ifeanyi.

While the facts of the situation are still unknown as neither parent has issued a statement, unsubstantiated sources say that Davido’s son drowned in a swimming pool at his property in the Banana Island area of Lagos State.

Apart from Wizkid, other friends and celebrities have taken to their social media pages to send cryptic messages and words of condolence to the parents and family.
