Yahaya Bello, the Kogi State Governor and the presidential aspirant of the All Progressives Congress, has boasted that he is the only aspirant sure of victory against the People’s Democratic Party in the 2023 elections.
Yahaya Bello made this assertion on Tuesday, June 7, at the Eagle Square, venue of the APC presidential primaries.

According to the Kogi State Governor, he represents the downtrodden: youth, women and people with disabilities whom must be catered to in order to ensure a bright economy.
He said;
I am here to provide purposeful leadership for the youth who are the future of the country. Give the youth this opportunity for a better future. Think of the road being plied on. The downtrodden: youth, women and the disabled must be cared for.
I am here to make a history and after a free process, I shall become victorious and be the flag bearer who will defeat Atiku. I inherited a PDP state during my time which is not an APC state. We have the numbers with youths, women and people with disabilities.
Yahaya Bello also detailed the challenges bedeviling the country; while enumerating how the issues were redressed in Kogi State.
He further stressed:
Insecurity is the most pressing issue bedeviling the country, followed by unity. A lot of these issues were plaguing my state when I took over the helm of affairs and six years down the line, insecurity has been handled; while there is religious tolerance due to the unity fostered by my administration.
Today, our students are at home due to strike with their futures being toyed with but nothing if such in Kogi state with a strict timeline. These are the problems plaguing Nigeria which we solved in Kogi State with little resources.
