Family sources told Channels Television on Wednesday that the kidnappers had earlier requested a N70 million ransom for the release of the victims.

It is, however, unclear whether the ransom was paid to secure the release.

Meanwhile, police authorities in the state say they were yet to receive an official report regarding the release of the victim as a result of the recent shutdown of telecommunications services in Bakori Local Government Council.
