Inter Milan boss, Antonio Conte has escaped punishment after he was caught on camera raising his middle finger to Juventus president, Andrea Agnelli in Coppa Italia semi-final match on Tuesday.

Conte has had a strained relationship with Agnelli ever since he departed from Juventus in 2014 to take over as Italy head Coach.

After the game, he said a fourth official “saw all and heard that happened during the game” and accused Juventus of lacking spirit of sportsmanship and respect.

None of the incidences were included in the referee’s report or the match adjudicator’s report.

There could still be a case if Public Prosecutor opens a case under Article 39 of sports Justice Code for gross misconduct.

Meanwhile, Juventus booked their place in the Coppa Italia final – where they will face Atalanta – after holding visitors Inter to a 0-0 draw in the second leg, with a 2-1 win on aggregate.

Romelu Lukaku and Lautaro Martinez came close to breaking the deadlock on the night in the first half, but both attackers were not prolific enough to find the back of the net.

The scorer of both goals in the first leg tie, Cristiano Ronaldo came close to adding to Juve’s aggregate advantage, but he couldn’t beat Inter Milan’s goalkeeper Samir Handanovic between the sticks.

The away rule in place meant Inter Milan had to score two goals without reply to book a spot in the final, Inter threw all they had at Juve, but Juventus Legend goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon and his defence line stood firm to secure a spot in the Coppa Italia Final.

The combined firepower of Lukaku and Martinez and the endless crosses of Christian Eriksen couldn’t give Inter Milan a goal at the end of 90 minutes.
