Nigerian Lawyer, Festus Keyamo has reacted to reports of ex-President Olusegun Obasanjo berating President Buhari who he called a failure and further warned Nigerians not to elect in 2019 election.

In series of tweets. Festus Keyamo who shared a photo of a National Daily in which former Head of State, Ibrahim Babangida told Olusegun Obasanjo that Nigerians are suffering while he was still President, stated that it is only Nigerians who don’t remember history that will pay attention to former President Obasanjo antics.

His tweets reads;

With this below, it is only Nigerians who don’t remember history that would pay attention to Obasanjo’s antics. For the records, d 2007 elections over which he presided was adjudged one of the worst the world has ever seen, prompting President Yar’Adua to apologise to Nigerians

Since 1960, a few pple have always determined who would govern all of us. They’re the ones now writing letters & inciting the people. 2019 would be a defining moment as d pple of this country will truly determine their own fate & put these self-conceited leaders to ultimate shame

Let’s remember that during d first 4 years of Obasanjo (1999-2003) he kept blaming d ‘rot’ the military left behind as d reason for his abysmal performance & begged Nigerians to be patient with him. To d extent that he reportedly knelt down 4 Atiku then to get his 2nd-term ticket

Recall that we reported earlier that the former President advised Buhari to buckle down, saying he was presently a failure. Olusegun Obasanjo said this while playing host to the New Nigeria 2019 Group, led by the convener, Chima Anyaso, in company with Moses Siasia.

As he did in the open letter he wrote about three months ago to the President, Obasanjo accused Buhari and the All Progressives Congress of bringing hardship on Nigerians and running ineffective economic policies which had crippled businesses.
