Sina Rambo Boasts Says Father Ademola Adeleke Still Osun State Governor

Nigerian recording artiste, Adesina Adeleke who is better known as Sina Rambo, the son of the Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has insisted that his father will remain in office as the governor.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter made this known via his Instagram Story on Friday.

On Friday, MDB reports that the Osun Election Petitions Tribunal annulled the July 16 governorship election results and declared the former governor, Gboyega Oyetola, as the winner of the exercise.

Reacting to the judgement, Sina Rambo had this to say,

Two judgments were issued today at the tribunal. One in favour of PDP. Nothing changed. Sen. Ademola Adeleke remains the governor of Osun State.

“We move to the appeal court. Peace be still. The mandate of Osun will not be stolen. H.E.Ademola Adeleke remains the Governor of Osun State.

Justice Tetsea Kume, while delivering a majority decision on Friday declared that the Independent National Electoral Commission did not comply substantially with the constitution and the provisions of the Electoral Act.

Reacting to the verdict of the tribunal from his country home in Ede, Adeleke faulted the resolution of the over-voting question in favour of Mr Adegboyega Oyetola, calling it “an unfair interpretation against the will of majority of voters

While urging his supporters to remain calm, Adeleke vowed to appeal the judgement at the Court of Appeal, insisting he remained the rightful winner of the July 16 election.

The governor said in a statement signed by his spokesman, Olawale Rasheed, on Friday.

I call on our people to remain calm. We will appeal the judgement and we are sure justice will be done. Let our people be reassured that we will do everything possible to retain this widely acclaimed mandate.
