A fire broke out at the Household of David church in Ikeja, Lagos, earlier today, causing damage to the auditorium ceiling. While no injuries were reported, the incident triggered concern and a rapid response from emergency services.
Confirming the details to the media, Lagos State Fire Service spokesperson Amodu Shakiri explained that the cause was likely an overheating ceiling. This overheating, Shakiri stated, led to the ceiling’s collapse and the subsequent ignition of a fire.
