Rapper Phyno, real name Chibuzor Nelson Azubuike, has announced the birth of his first child.
On Monday, the musician, 36, uploaded a photo of himself cuddling his child to Instagram.

The rapper, who had taken a brief break from making songs, claimed that he had “took some time off to be a father.”
He continued by saying he has been working on a music project and called the process “wholesome”.
“I took some time off to be a Father and also work on new music / Album and it’s been a wholesome experience. Now it’s time to get back to what I do best ❤️,” he wrote.
Phyno, however, did not reveal when and with whom he had the child.
He also did not reveal the gender of the baby.
Phyno started his career as a producer in 2003 and is renowned for rapping in the Igbo language. He also combines a bit of Nigerian Pidgin and English.
He has performed with artistes such as Wizkid, Davido, Timaya, Flavour, Ruggedman, Bracket, J. Martins, and Mr Raw.
