TrinityGuy: Court Extends Remand Of Skitmaker Over Assault Of Minor

Maruf Abdullahi, also known as TrinityGuy, who is accused of sexually abusing a ten-year-old child, was once more ordered by a family court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, Oyo State, on Tuesday to remain behind bars until August 31.

According to MDB, TrinityGuy and the victim’s parents were accused of conspiring and of sexual exploitation by the police.

Abdullahi, 31, and the child’s parents, Isiaka Ahmed, 40, and his wife, Rofiat Ahmed, 29, were ordered to remain on detention in Agodi by Magistrate P. O. Adetuyibi.

Earlier, the prosecution counsel, Oluwakemi Arowosaye, told the court that the accused persons allegedly conspired together to wit sexual abuse, adding, ‘Trinity on December 17, 2022, was alleged to have sexually abused and exploited the ten-year-old girl at Kuola area, Ibadan.

The police said the offence contravened the provisions of Section 35 (1) and was punishable under Section 35 (2) of the state Child Rights Law 2006.

She added that it also contravened the provisions of section 516 of the Criminal Code Laws of Oyo State 2000.
