He said that on May 3, 94 evacuees—78 men and 16 women—boarded a NAF C130 plane from Aswan Airport in Egypt, while 274 boarded an Air Peace plane.

According to Balogun, 132 Nigerians boarded Tarco Airline on May 5; 131 evacuees joined the same airline from Port Sudan on May 6; and 102 refugees boarded the same aircraft on Sunday from Port Sudan.

He further said 410 Nigerians boarded Max Air and 322 Azman Air, both flights from Aswan Airport on Sunday.

Balogun reported that on Monday and Tuesday, respectively, two flights from Tarco Airline evacuated 133 passengers from Port Sudan, including seven children and nine newborns, and 126 passengers, including 12 children and 41 infants as well.

He mentioned that 123 Nigerians travelled on Tarco Airline from Port Sudan on Wednesday, while 136 did so on Thursday.

However, he added that the National Emergency Management Agency was anticipated to provide information regarding the 128 and 136 evacuees travelling on separate aircraft, as well as the 264 people on board Tarco Airline.
