EYEMARK: FG Launches App Which Enables Citizens Track Projects’ Execution, Delivery

Nigerians may now watch the development of capital projects and report on it to the federal government thanks to EYEMARK, an online application created by the federal government and based on user feedback.

This was said by Clem Agba, Minister of State for the Budget and National Planning, on Thursday in Abuja at the end-of-term press conference.

Nigerians living in Nigeria and abroad would be able to follow the progress of government initiatives, according to Agba.

He said;

We have achieved our commitment to the principles of the Open Government Partnership (OGP), which has gradually transformed the governance ecosystem in Nigeria.

We also improved budgetary processes, procurement processes, boosted anti-corruption through the introduction of transparency in company ownership.

The minister said that the ministry also developed a framework for National Monitoring and Evaluation which President Muhammadu Buhari recently launched.

He emphasised some of the ministry’s developments and implementations that are crucial to the nation’s growth and development.

Agba stressed;

We saw to the implementation of Grid three Technology, which deploys Geospatial data for evidence-based decision making and promotion of effective coordination.
