Social media users in Nigeria have shared the image of Bola Tinubu, the country’s incoming president, along with the word “perjury.”
Controversial Journalist David Hundeyin claimed on Saturday that Bola Tinubu of the All Progressive Congress (APC) had dual citizenship with Guinea-Conakry in a post on his verified page on Twitter.

According to Google, perjury is the deliberate uttering of a lie or a false representation while under oath. Simply put, lying while swearing.
In his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) EC9 declaration, Tinubu reportedly declared that he had not acquired any additional citizenship.
However, his findings allegedly show that the former Lagos governor has Guinean citizenship with his Guinean passport which also clearly stated that he was born in Nigeria-implying he obtained Guinean Citizenship.
Reacting to the development, Nigerian tweeps called on lawyers across the country to sue the president-elect with perjury.
