Mr Macaroni Tackles Lagos State Gov, Expresses Displeasure At His Rulership

Nigerian social media content creator, Mr Macaroni whose real name is Adebowale Adedayo has questioned the proficiency of the Lagos state governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.

On Monday, February 27, the movie actor and skit maker stated that the Lagos state governor has failed to impress him in his first term as the leader of the state.

Macaroni‘s criticism on Twitter is coming after the Lagos state governor who would be looking to emerge for a second term in the coming 2023 gubernatorial election on Saturday, March 4 claimed he has been able to “promote harmony and friendship across ethnic” groups in the state.

His statement on Twitter read,

I have been your Governor for almost four years, promoting harmony and friendship across ethnic and religious lines without any form of discrimination whatsoever.

Let us remain calm. All will be well. We are a peaceful people and so we shall remain.

Reacting to Gov. Sanwo-Olu‘s post on Twitter, Macaroni revealed that the Lagos state governor has failed to impress him. He went on to allude the massacre that place at Lekki Tollgate in Lagos state in October 2020.

The movie actor went further to accuse the state governor of dehumanizing and brutalizing the youths. In the latter part of his post, Macaroni expressed support for the gubernatorial candidate of Labour Party, Gbadebo Patrick Rhodes-Vivour, also known as GRV.

His tweet read,

I don’t know about others but you have not impressed ME as Governor of Lagos State!
Lagos youths were killed some others brutalized and dehumanized under your watch.
Please sir, kindly call for Peace like this also on March 11th. So we can peacefully come out and Vote for GRV!”
