Nigerian recording artiste, Iyanya was seen pushing a fan off the stage in a trending video on social media.
The ‘Kukure’ crooner has since taken to the microblogging site, Twitter to explain what transpired between himself and the fan that led to him pushing the concertgoer off the stage during his performance in Awka, Anambra state.
According to Iyanya, the singer kept on ‘slapping’ the money on his face, which he found disrespectful. The singer mentioned that the fan should’ve simply sprayed him the money and desist from hitting it hard upon his face.

Explaining what transpired, Iyanya revealed that his attempts to restrain the fan from what he described as a disrespectful act failed hence his decision to shove the fan off the stage.
“The guy kept slapping my face with the money and I tried to hold his hand and he continued. First, no matter how much you are spraying, don’t slap someone with it, that’s disrespectful.”

Police Spokesman Reacts To The Incident
According to DSP Bright Edafe who is the Spokesman for the Delta State Police Command, the fan who was shoved off from the stage can get Iyanya arrested should he choose to file an official report.
