Bola Ahmed Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) has stated that he does not want the name of People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial running mate and actress, Funke Akindele‘s name mentioned in his presence.
He stated this at a recent rally of his political party on Wednesday, November 2.
Speaking at the rally, Tinubu informed his supporters that it is insulting to mention the name of superstar actress and Funke Akindele, in his presence.
Tinubu mentioned this where his supporters sang a campaign song, describing Funke Akindele as a political ‘ant’ compared to Governor of Lagos state and governorship candidate of the APC in the state, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
The APC presidential candidate said;
“Who is Funke Akindele before Sanwo-Olu of Lagos? She is an ant.
“Don’t even bother to mention her name in my presence. It is an insult. It is disrespectful.”

Funke Akindele is the running mate to People’s Democratic Party (PDP) gubernatorial candidate, Abdul-Azeez Adediran who is also known as Jandor.
A couple of months ago, Funke Akindele announced her recent achievement with a video on her Instagram platform.
The mother-of-2 promised to put in work and to put the interest of the people of Lagos at heart, come 2023.
However, it could not go unnoticed that the actress omitted her ex’s name, Bello while re-introducing herself at the tail end of the video.
