Kizz Daniel Arrested In Tanzania For Failing To Perform At Concert (Video)


Kizz Daniel has been arrested in Tanzania for failing to appear for a scheduled performance.

In a viral video, the singer was seen taken into a police van with police officers.

According to reports gathered, Kizz Daniel whose real name is Daniel Oluwatobi Anidugbe was arrested on Monday, August 8 for not showing up to perform at an event, after he was reportedly paid in full.

Fans left the show angrily, after he failed to show and perform which prompted the event organizers to call for his arrest according to multiple reports online.

The Buga crooner was scheduled to perform at the Warehouse, Old Nextdoor Arena in Tanzania, on Sunday night, as part of his Afro Classic World Tour.

Following his failure to show up, a video of angry fans trashing the show’s venue had trended earlier.

In fresh videos trending on Twitter, however, the singer wearing a hooded jacket was seen being led into a police vehicle.

Voices could be heard in the background of the videos stating their displeasure with the singer’s attitude.

An angry voice was saying, “You will go in for it. You’ve caused damage in this country. I warned you yesterday.

Moments after his arrest, the concert organizers, Big Step Consultancy released a statement to address concertgoers, first apologizing for the musician’s no show and also vowing to reimburse them.
