Omah Lay To Release Debut Studio ‘Boy Alone’ On July 15th

Nigerian recording artiste, Omah Lay has confirmed that his debut studio album, Boy Alone will be released on Friday, July 15.

Omah Lay is one of the leading recording artiste in the Nigerian entertainment industry. He gained modest notoriety in May 2020 following the release of his groundbreaking extended play (EP), Get Layd.

The Rivers State recording artiste has since experienced an impressive rise to fame, working with Nigerian megastars such as Wizkid and Adekunle Gold before going on to collaborate with international musicians such as Justin Bieber.

Omah Lay who has been at loggerheads with his record label following the continuous postponement of his album on Monday evening revealed to his fans that his debut studio album will released officially this week.

Making the announcement on Twitter, he wrote; My debut album drops this Friday! Click link to pre-add

The singer added a lengthy statement to express how much the new project means to him.

The 25-year-old singer wrote;

I’m thankful.

I’m thankful for finding my way to the music after a whole year of dealing with personal demons.

Maybe, I’ll share more on that when I’m ready.

He continued;

I’m thankful for the blessings & experiences that have shaped my music since my debut.

Expectations of what, who & how I should be meant no room for the real me, but I’m growing & rediscovery myself. Being the best me is a must.

His concluding paragraph reads;

Lastly, I am thankful for your patience as I worked  to make this album a reflection of my artistry, struggles, blessings & my journey so far.

Can’t wait to share it with you.
