Onuorah Onyinye, a renowned Instagram influencer and wig seller has been arrested by operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) over alleged possession of cocaine.
Moji Delano gathered that Onyinye who is also known as Smart Beyonce was arrested on Saturday, July 23 at the Enugu airport after arriving on an Ethiopian Airlines flight from Addis Ababa.
NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, in a statement on Sunday, July 24, said she was nabbed with 2.192 kilos of cocaine found hidden in two designer’s women handbags with false linings.

Further, Babafemi said two ladies and six men were arrested over attempts to import hundreds of cocaine pellets into Nigeria and export thousands of tramadol 255mg tablets, among other illicit drugs, to Europe through the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja; Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu; and Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
According to him, the streaks of arrests and seizures began on Sunday, July 17, when a 52-year-old father of three, Okwo Okechukwu, was arrested upon his arrival from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, via an Ethiopian airline flight at the Abuja airport for ingesting 76 pellets of cocaine.
The agency also revealed it frustrated attempts by drug traffickers to export different illicit drugs through the Nigerian Aviation Handling Company Plc (NAHCO) export shed at the Lagos airport to Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
