President Muhammadu Buhari has on Monday received the new Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya at the State House in Abuja.
The meeting took place days after the President appointed Major General Yahaya as the new Chief of Army Staff following the unfortunate death of Lieutenant-General Ibrahim Attahiru in an air crash alongside 10 other officers in May.
President Buhari met Major General Farouk Yahaya alongside Chief of Defense Staff, General Lucky Irabor.
However, the purpose of the meeting was yet unknown, as at the time of filing this report.
