Friends Insist Cross River University Student Is Missing, Say Recent Video Was Done Under DuressFriends of 22-year old Mass Communication student of Cross River University of Technology, Priscilla Ojong, have insisted that she is missing, saying the video of her declaring herself not missing is fake.

On Thursday, May 13, friends and relatives of Priscilla began an online search for Ojong stating that she allegedly travelled from Calabar to Lagos State on the invitation of a male friend and no one has been able to reach her for over three weeks.

Hours later, Priscilla shared a video on her Instagram page, dismissing claims that she is missing, saying she was incommunicado because her phone was bad.

She also clarified that she is not in Lagos state as alleged by friends but that she is in Calabar, Cross River state.

However, reacting to the video, some of her friends and other Nigerians expressed doubt, saying she looked pressured to record the clip.

They averred that the black dress she wore in the video she uploaded was torn, adding that if indeed she is safe, she should make contact with her family members and also come on IG live.

Amid this, some of her friends and colleague in Calabar took to the streets in protest, declaring that Priscilla is missing and that her recent video is fake.
