Everybody, please stop posting these rumours. DMX is still alive. Yes, he is on life support but please, it’s not helping anybody seeing these false rumours. Let the family relax for a night. It has been claimed the rumours were sparked by DMX’s friend, comedian Luenell, when she paid tribute to the rapper.

She wrote; “It is over. My friend is gone. Soar w/ the [birds]Join the best that ever did it. RIP….. DMX”, in a now-deleted Instagram story.

The star later removed this post and clarified her words in another story, explaining;

When your spirit leaves and your organs fail you, the body becomes just a shell. One becomes wrapped in the Lord’s arms. That’s what “I” call gone. I’m sorry to all.

DMX has been battling for his life in hospital for a week, with fans and famous faces rushing to offer their well wishes on social media.
