Manchester United’s Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez joins Inter Milan
Manchester United’s Chilean forward Alexis Sanchez has signed a three-year contract with Inter Milan.

Sanchez, will receive a small pay-off from United after agreeing to waive the final two years of his £560k-per-week contract.

The 31-year-old, who has been on loan at Inter Milan since August 2019 has now signed a contract until June 30, 2023.

After confirming the player’s exit, United in a statement said;

Everyone at Manchester United wishes Alexis Sanchez all the best in his future career as he joins Inter Milan on a permanent transfer.

Manchester United coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer confirming the news as well stated that Sanchez’s move to Inter Milan had been made permanent.

Solskjaer stated;

I can confirm that Alexis will be confirmed as an Inter player on Thursday. Alexis has had a good time over there, he’s a good player, so we wish him all the best.

Sanchez scored four goals for Antonio Conte’s Serie A runners-up behind Juventus.

He was sidelined for nearly three months after undergoing surgery in October on tendon damage picked up while playing for Chile in a friendly against Colombia.

Sanchez joined United as part of the deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan sign for Arsenal in January 2018, but failed to make an impact at the Premier League club.

He scored five goals in 45 appearances for United before following Belgian forward Romelu Lukaku to Inter Milan in August 2019.
