Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, has tested negative for COVID-19, six days after contracting the virus.
Governor Akeredolu in a weekly press briefing on Monday confirmed the development, Punch reports.
He stated the doctors confirmed his negative status after running the test twice.
This news comes four days it was announced that Betty Anyanwu-Akeredolu, wife of governor and some of her security aides tested positive for coronavirus on July 2.
