Raymond Dokpesi Snr test positive to Coronavirus

Chief Raymond Dokpesi, founder of Daar communications, owner of AIT/Raypower FM has tested positive to Coronavirus.

His daughter-in law and six other members of his family have also tested positive.

This is comes 3 days after his son who is the board chairman of the company, Raymond Dokpesi Jnr tested positive for the virus.

The test was later extended to senior management and members of Daar communication staff and family members of Dokpesi Jnr. 

Dokpesi and the affected family members have reportedly been evacuated to the isolation centre where his son is already receiving treatment.

The Daar communications boss was quoted to have said he was feeling well before he got into the ambulance which conveyed him to the hospital.

He said; ‘I am of quite ok. I feel very well.’

Contact tracing immediately commenced with his family members including his father, and members of his household.

The test was said to have been extended to senior management and members of staff who had been in close contact with the company’s index case, Dokpesi Jnr.

Report say the headquarters of DAAR Communications at Kpaduma hills in Asokoro, Abuja, has been decontaminated.
