Renown Nigerian Designer Tope FnR Marries Her Prince Charming In Mordern Day Fairytale Wedding
“You are worth the wait”, beautiful designer bride Tope FnR, 35, captioned the first photo she posted on social media as she married the man of her dreams in a mordern day fairytale wedding yesterday in #Dubai after waiting on God for 5 years.
For those who don’t know, Tope real name Matopeda Abiola is a born again Christian whose dedication to God has inspired many including me. She waited on God for a good man, a man whom she didn’t need to settle for( at least not fundamental things) and he made that happen and gave her an amazing testimony. Tope and her husband are the answers to each other’s prayers.
While she waited, she did it God’s way. No partial obedience, no sex before marriage. I know this because I got to know Tope even off social media, and she’s being such a strong force God has used to strengthen my Christian Life and believe in him.
So to see her get married so joyfully, without settling is a reminder that God is faithful. I also love how intimate her wedding was. The wedding celebrations started on Friday with the couple’s close friends and family building up to the wedding proper yesterday-Monday! Yes you read right, a Monday wedding! And from the videos and clips posted on social media it was so much fun.
Tope arrived at her wedding on a boat, in a self designed beautiful, princess ball gown, looking regal and well suited for her new surname KING. The wedding was outdoor, after which the party proceeded to the reception where they danced, made merry, sang off- karaoke style, and generally had loads of fun.
For her big day Tope chose 4 outfits that were perfect for her well sculpted body and every one of the them were stunning. I can imagine she must have been under a bit of pressure considering all the beautiful gowns she makes for brides and the fact that she told her friends to come to the wedding ‘slaying and taking no prisoners’. But she didn’t disappoint at all! The outfits were hits back to back!
Finally, I wish the couple a very happy married life filled with lots of joy, laughter and happiness. And to the ladies out there over 30 and hoping to get married soon, it will happen soon. But trust that God is in charge and delay is not denial. Also seek to do it his way, in total obedience and he will build you up, and give you the desires of your heart because he is faithful!
