Popular Nigerian music stars, Ayodeji Balogun, whose stage name is Wizkid, and Olamide Adedeji, better known as Olamide Baddo, on Wednesday, dropped some hints about possible musical collaborations in the future.

The music superstars have both taken to their social media pages to pen down lines that are more than enough to get fans guessing when a new track, with the both of them on it, will drop.

The ‘Science Student’ crooner, Olamide first posted a picture of Wizkid in his studio on his Instagram handle, @baddosneh.

He wrote:

“Wiz came to bless some beats for me.”

About an hour later, Starboy Wizkid @wizkidayo, retweeted a post by Olamide on his twitter handle @Olamide_YBNL, giving it the caption:

“Serious matter ! RT @wizkidayo: Baddo x Starboy! Locked in the studio all day!!!”

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) has reported that the hint has brought rise to a lot of replies from both fans and celebrities alike, who are excited at the possibility that the two stars are making new music together.

Here are some of the reactions:

@Iamstarmyck tweeted,

“Anticipating a dope Jam from two legends @olamide_YBNL & @wizkidayo …that we dance shaku shaku too.”

@R_habeeb14 wrote,

“something big for two kings.”

If this goes through, it will be their third collaboration since they began their individual music careers. It can be recalled that the two had come together on hit tracks, ‘Ori Mi’ in 2017 and ‘Omo To Shan’ in 2013.

Wizkid came into limelight in 2015 when his hit song ‘Ojuelegba’ was remixed by American rapper Drake, subsequently leading to a Grammy nomination when he collaborated with the same artist on ‘One Dance’.

Olamide, popularly known as the voice of the streets, has seven albums in his seven-year long career, and is currently thriving on the success of his song ‘Science Student’.
