People had gone to thank God for succesfully crossing into the new year but little did these unfortunate ones know they had gone to offer their last prayers.
Some people were attacked by gunmen on their way from crossover service in Omuku, Rivers state and about 15 people were killed.
May God grant their families the strenght to bear their loss.
