Hillary Clinton Mocks Trump After Failing To Repeal Obamacare

Hilary Clinton and a gaggle of Democrats reacted with glee after Donald Trump failed to honour one of the key pledges of his presidential campaign to repeal and replace Obamacare.

The President’s replacement bill, the American Healthcare Act – dubbed “Trumpcare” by critics – was pulled moments before the vote in Congress because it did not have enough support among Republican representatives to pass.

And Democrats wasted no time to mock Trump for his administration’s failure to pass the legislation.

Democratic Senator Bob Menendez joked on Twitter that help would be available to treat Trump’s wounds.

He wrote: “Hey Republicans, don’t worry, that burn is covered under the Affordable Care Act.”

Sean Patrick Maloney, a Democratic representative for New York, posted a selfie to Twitter with colleagues celebrating Trump’s defeat.

He wrote: “We’re not tired of winning yet. Ready when you are to talk real solutions to fix ACA for American people.”

Hillary Clinton, who has recently emerged from a period of privacy since failing to beat Trump in the election, declared the failed bill a “victory for all Americans”.

Clinton followed up her statement with a series of tweets about people she claimed had been helped by Obama’s Affordable Care Act.
