Massacre In Rivers State as Cultists Kill Five During Burial

At least, five people have been killed in a fresh violent attack at Omoku town in Ogba-Egbema-Ndoni Local Government Area of Rivers State by some unknown gunmen.

This is coming barely a week after cultists and criminals voluntarily surrendered their arms to embrace the amnesty offer of the state Governor, Nyesom Wike.

Information gathered shows that unknown gunmen stormed the venue of a burial ceremony in white Hilux van shooting sporadically into the crowd.

As at this very moment, security has been beefed up in the area.

My dear it is quite sad. My husband’s mentor attended that burial and we got a call front these boys, demanding 30million. This man refused to attend the burial with his official security men to avoid undue attention to himself and now this? Himself, Driver and others in his vehicle have been missing but their vehicle was found on the road. I lack words…
