EFCC Seizes Fayose’s Properties In Abuja And Lagos

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has seized six choice properties allegedly acquired by Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State with stolen public funds.

Some of the properties seized include:

– 44, Osun Crescent and 32, Yedseram Street in Maitama, Abuja;

Houses 3, 4, 6, and 9 in Plot 100, Tiamiyu Savage Street, Victoria Island, Lagos.

-A duplex on Osun Crescent was allegedly bought for N200million

– Another one located in Yedseram Street in Abuja was purchased for N270million.

“The houses in Lagos alone were paid for with over N880 million and were acquired within 180 days in office by Fayose. Since the houses are under investigation, we have decided to invoke the assets forfeiture clause in our Act.” Officials from EFCC added.
