Tinubu Announces First Appointments, Hours After Inauguration



A Presidential Spokesperson, Chief of Protocol, and Special Assistant on Media were all rapidly appointed by President Bola Tinubu after quickly putting together his team.

MDB gathered that Oyo-born Ambassador Adekunle Adeleke, a seasoned career diplomat, has been given the important position of State Chief of Protocol (SCOP) to the President.

President Tinubu has appointed respected communicator Dele Alake to serve as the presidential spokesperson.

A seasoned digital media strategist named Olusegun Dada has also been named the Special Assistant on Digital Media.
