Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, a singer from Nigeria, has expressed regret about being left out of the Renewed Hope Concert that took place on Thursday at the MKO Abiola National Stadium in Abuja.

The concert featured performances from no less than 46 performers, including many well-known figures from the music business. These artists included Buju, Waje, Brymo, Fireboy, Kaycee, Asake, Timaya, Pasuma, Naira Marley, Tony Tetuila, and Seyi Vibes.

Bola Tinubu, the president-elect, and Kashim Shettima, his vice-president, were honoured during the ceremony.

In spite of publicly endorsing Tinubu, the Zazzoo singer claimed on social media that he was not included among the artists.

Portable said;

They have ripped me. I used to shout up and down: Akwe [There is] Tinubu and when I do so people insult me. But I continued posting it.

While referring to the artistes who performed at the event, Portable said none of them campaigned for the president-elect and publicised him as he did.

He said;

They did not post you, Uncle Tinubu. We were the ones that fought for you. We fought for you in Lagos, everywhere, including online.
