Asari Mujahid Dokubo has gone on his Facebook live during the early hours of today, Sunday, April 9 to respond to allegations that he became a Muslim because of a hobby.
Speaking, he said he was never ashamed of being a Muslim, and he responded to Obasanjo and Nyesom Wike when they tried to question his religion.
Asari Dokubo said,
“Wike looked at me and said: Aren’t you ashamed to be a Muslim?”
He continued, “I asked him if he was ashamed of Christianity. And I said the same to Obasanjo when he tried to question my Islam. I told him he was not ashamed to be a Christian.”

Adding, he said,
“Obasanjo and Wike are both alive; you look at me, and you think I became a Muslim for self-interest?”
He continued, “As I told you, I have always been favored in my life. I may not have the whole world, and I don’t even need the world; I just need a little bit of me to survive, to live in this world and give birth to good children so that they continue to spread the word.”
