Charles Soludo, the governor of Anambra state has rejected the call by the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi for the people of Anambra to vote massively for LP candidates during the forthcoming state assembly elections.

Soludo cried out that the call by Obi for the people of the state to vote for the Labour Party might just be laying landmines for him and setting him up for impeachment.

The incumbent Anambra Governor lamented that Obi has a firsthand experience of what it means to be Governor without his party in control of the legislature and shouldn’t want him to have a similar experience.

Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has described the Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate, Peter Obi, as the hero of the just-concluded election.

He said his active participation stopped the North from retaining power after President Muhammadu Buhari.

Wike spoke during an interactive meeting with the Technical Dealers Association of Nigeria (TDAN), Computer Dealers Association (TDA), Garrison Phone Dealers Association (GPDA) and Building Materials Traders Association (BMTA) in Port Harcourt on Saturday.

The Governor explained that contrary to insinuation that he did not support Peter Obi, most people failed to realise that LP candidate was his hero of the election.
