When a man doesn’t rape an indecently dressed woman or a drunk woman, he should be rewarded with like 2M Naira. It’s not easy to be a decent human being.”

Here is what he had to say,

The tweet I made about rape was me innocently trying to paint an equivalence of how people should not be rewarded for not committing crime, especially about the argument that 50K wasn’t a good enough ‘reward’ for him returning 10m that doesn’t belong to him. People should be decent for decency sake.

However, that didn’t go well. I should have been more sensitive with my wording. I never intended to sound insensitive. In fact, I was riled by how much people tried justifying rewarding not committing crime. I apologize. It was a gaffe. Again, I apologize.”
