Ahmed, who thanked the security agencies for their previous assistance to the NYSC Bauchi secretariat, especially during the orientation courses, appealed to the stakeholders for the security of the corps members, whom he said were neutral participants in the electoral process and heeded the call to contribute to national development.

He further stated;

I am appealing for maximum security for our corps members during and after the governorship and state House of Assembly elections, even up till their corps lodges.

Brigadier General Egbe, while commending the five-point policy thrust of the NYSC DG, said arrangements had been made to ensure that corps members were fully protected from danger.

Similarly, Abdullahi said all hands were on the deck to provide stronger security for all corps members in the state even after the polls.
