Omotola Says ‘Suffering In Nigeria Needless’ After Experiencing Life In The United States

Veteran Nollywood actress, Omotola Jolade-Ekeinde on Friday compared the state of Nigeria, her home country to the United States of America, a nation she relocated to alongside members of her family a couple of years ago.

According to the actress, most of the struggle and suffering ongoing in Nigeria is needless and could be fixed if the leaders decide to what is necessary in developing the nation.

Speaking about her time in the United States, Omotola stated that, “Nigerians are too intelligent a people to be suffering” adding that suffering shouldn’t be a “lesson to brag about.”

After living in the US Now for about 2 years… Not just visiting but living and changing systems… I now see many things we managed and let slide is just pure craziness…” said the movie star.

She continued, “I’m deeply frustrated at the depth and Volume of the Needless Suffering Nigerians go through.

“We are too intelligent a people to suffer like this. Suffering is not lessons to brag about … it’s Evil.

“Why must People SUFFER to get anything done? Why?
