'No One Can Force Me To Attend National Debates'- APC Presidential Candidate, Bola Tinubu

Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate for president, was never on the payroll of Deloitte, USA, according to a recent report from the renowned audit and consultancy firm, which claims to have no record of his engagement.

Due to his alleged role in the loss of $460,000, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) had earlier on Sunday demanded Tinubu’s disqualification under Section 137 of the 1999 Constitution.

If there had been no criminal conspiracy, according to PDP, there should have been no forfeiture in the first place.

But the revelation Tinubu made in the interview he granted was at odds with this new development.

While employed by Deloitte & Touche, Tinubu stated in an interview with TheNews Magazine that he had a salary deposit of roughly $1.8 million.

He said;

My bonus was $850,000 before taxes. My salaries were also being paid into the bank and I was not touching them. At the time, my salary deposit in the bank had risen to $1.8million.

Investigative journalist David Hundeyin claimed he subpoenaed Deloitte USA for the employment records of the APC candidate after further investigating Tinubu’s claims.

His research was published on his verified Twitter account, @DavidHundeyin, where it was noted that Deloitte was unable to locate any records containing the name requested.

Paul Ibe, Atiku Abubakar’s media advisor, mentioned Tinubu’s numerous scandals on his verified Twitter account.

In 1999 Bola Ahmed Tinubu @officialABAT lied under oath in his @inecnigeria form CF001, when he claimed to have attended The University of Chicago @UChicago & Govt College Ibadan. But the attached notarised document proves beyond reasonable doubts that Tinubu lied under oath.

The certified true copy of his own affidavit is hereby placed side-by-side with the notarised document to show that he did not only lie on oath but forged the documents. Yes, it is 30 years since Bola Tinubu lied under oath, but crime does not rot.
