Rico Swavey, Former BBNaija Reality Star, Pronounced Dead After Car Accident

Rico Swavey whose real name is Patrick Fakoya, a former Big Brother Naija housemate has died.

His demise was confirmed by his colleagues from the reality show.

Taking to the microblogging site, Twitter on Thursday morning, his Big Brother Naija colleague, Tobi Bakre broke the news.

Making the announcement on Twitter, he wrote;

“We lost him.

But thanks a lot guys. God knows best”

Another former Big Brother Naija candidate, Alex Asogwa who revealed that the 2018 BBNaija Double Wahala housemate was involved in a ghastly motor accident also paid tribute to him.

The reality star sustained severe injuries from the accident that took place in Lagos state and did not survive.

The reality star who is also known as Patrick Fakoya died days after he was put on life support machine following a car accident.

Swavey participated in the 2018 Big Brother Naija Double Wahala edition.

On Tuesday, Alex Asogwa, a friend and colleague of the late reality star confirmed that he was involved in a ghastly motor accident.

“Good morning sweethearts. Please put @iamricoswavey in your prayers today. He was involved in a ghastly accident hours ago and the doctors are still trying to resuscitate him as I just left the hospital. It’s really critical. I’m staying positive,” Alex tweeted.
