Afrobeat icon, Wizkid is set to release his 5th studio album, More Love, Less Ego.
Previously, Moji Delano gathered that More Love, Less Ego was scheduled for release in August 2022, however, recent report claim the album will debut on the 29th of October 2022.
The album is set to be the follow up to his 4th studio album, Made In Lagos.
Earlier in the week, Wizkid released his first single for the year titled, ‘Bad To Me‘.
This single serves as the promotional single for the forthcoming album and is the singer’s first personal release since he put out the deluxe version of his Made in Lagos album.
This song has since its release rocketed to the number one spot on Nigerian music charts and also made new streaming records.
The self-acclaimed Star Boy has been identified as one of the greatest musicians in the entertainment industry in modern times.
In 2022, Wizkid has continued to enjoy fascinating success from the singles of his hugely successful ‘Made In Lagos’ album. ‘Essence’ became the first Afrobeats single to go Platinum in the US and ‘Made In Lagos’ became the first African album to get a gold certification.
Wizkid has also appeared in a handful of collaborations including Chris Brown‘s ‘Call Me Everyday‘, BNXN‘S ‘Many Ways‘, and DJ Tunez‘s ‘Majo.‘
