Errol Musk, the father of South African businessman, Elon Musk has stated that he is not impressed by the achievement of his son, despite being the wealthiest man on earth.
Errol was asked the question during a session on an Australian radio show, The Kyle and Jackie O Show.
When asked whether he’s proud of the entrepreneur, he candidly replied: ‘No… I mean, we are a family that have been doing a lot of things for a long time.
‘It’s not as though we suddenly started doing something.
‘We’ve all been, as a family, doing things from the very beginning. The kids were traveling with me around the world when they were tiny, they’ve been doing very interesting things.
‘They’ve seen a lot of things, we’ve done a lot of things together, we’re that kind of family.’
‘He’s 50 now and I still think of him as a little boy. But he’s 50, I mean that’s an old man.’
Errol also confessed that, while his son is the founder of one of the biggest car companies on the planet, he actually doesn’t drive a Tesla.
However, he did heap praise on the business mogul near the end of the chat, adding of his son: ‘He’s a very, very nice person.
‘He loves people, he loves humanity.’
Errol is a father of seven – Elon, Kimbal, Tosca, twins Asha Rose and Alexandra, Elliot, and the newest arrival, whose name hasn’t been revealed.
