Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke who is better known as Davido ran into the mother of fellow megastar Wizkid at the airport where he posed for a picture with her.
On Friday, August 26th, 2022, a photo of Davido posing beside Wizkid‘s mom was posted by a Twitter user @Blaccmajek.
The post generated positive comments from fans who were glad to see the 30 Billion Gang (BG) relating fine with the mother of his fellow heavyweight.

Davido‘s gesture has since received positive feedback from numerous social media users.
In other news, Ckay, a Nigerian recording artiste acknowledged the influence of several top Nigerian musicians upon his life. The musician stated that Davido, Wizkid and Burna Boy are his primary influences and he recognizes them as the ‘goats’ of Afrobeat.
Here is what the singer wrote on his Twitter platform;
“Davido showed me that getting plaques with afrobeat songs is possible, Wizkid showed me that where you come from doesn’t limit how far you can go, and Burna Boy showed me that delay is not denial.”
He went further to admonish fans to desist from trolling Nigerian creatives and understand that everyone has a part to play in promoting Afrobeat culture.
