Yemi Alade Bemoans Poor State Of Nigeria, Despite Afrobeat Success

Nigerian recording artiste, Yemi Alade in a post shared on her Twitter platform on Friday, July 8 applauded the influence of Afrobeat across the globe, however, she was disappointed in the current state of her nation.

In her post, she mentioned that Afrobeat is leading at the forefront of the music industry, but Nigeria has been going through an onerous phase in recent times.

Yemi Alade, one of the most renowned songstresses in the Nigerian entertainment sector acknowledged the expertise of Afrobeat and Afropop musicians.

She mentioned that the ambassadors of the genre are exceptional in their field however, the nefarious condition of the country is making her unhappy.

She wrote on Twitter;

Afrobeats is breaking barriers and making waves globally as our Nigerian ambassadors continue to bless us with melodies but my heart is with Nigeria! SHE IS IN THE WORST CONDITION SHE HAS EVER BEEN

Meanwhile, Yemi Alade‘s colleague, Falz has expressed disappointment in Nigeria.

According to the rapper and social activist, he is tired of the current adversity that Nigeria is suffering.

The rapper wrote;

At what point those this sh!t become too ridiculous?!
