Nigerian media personality, Daddy Freeze whose real name is Ifedayo Olarinde, has slammed the popular gospel artiste, Nathaniel Bassey for asking Christians and his followers to make ‘Jesus‘ trend.

Nathaniel Bassey had taken to his Twitter handle on Tuesday afternoon to urge Nigerians to share an image that had the name of Jesus boldly inscribed on it as a way of releasing the power of Christ on the country.

As directed, Nigerians began posting the photo on various social media platforms which triggered reactions from netizens who weren’t aware of the challenge.

Reacting to this, Daddy Freeze took to Instagram to criticize the challenge initiated by Nathaniel Bassey while claiming that he only wants to trend and make money from it.

According to him, rather than the singer encouraging people to get their Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC), he’s initiating a religious trend that wouldn’t bring peace to the country.
